Gaw. Three times in the past two days...my laptop has chaged down to 0% and shut down. While still plugged in. I've replaced the battery and power cord already, so I'm thinking there's...probably a short somewhere? When I finally have the time (read: when I don't have papers and stuff to do and can't afford to be laptop-less) I'm going to take it somewhere to get it checked out.
Any suggestions/thoughts/comments? Help would be appreciated.

If you've replaced the cord and battery then I agree it's probably shop time. Lots of reasons the battery wouldn't charge right or hold a charge and none are do it yourself. Any chance you might know a shop that would give you a loaner while they were working on yours? Norm
