Sleep is for the weary!

It's 8:17 now, and I have yet to fall asleep. Two more hours and I hit the 24 hour mark.

Boy,do I know how that is. When you work nights and have kids there are far too many 24-36 hour days. Back in my younger Carny days I could go days on just an hour or twos sleep. I always figured that I'd just enjoy the time I was awake and let my body collapse when it got tired enough. Rest,relax and sleep will come,promise!

Well, what works for me is a nice Hot Bath with candles(lavendar scented is really good to relax you) and a cool rag or cold gel pack on your eyes for a few minutes to relax. When you get out put on your most comfy jammies and drink a nice warm glass of milk with vanilla, honey and cinnamon and if you have it take a bayer PM aspirin, but just one so your not groggy in the morning. Insomnia sucks, I hope you get some rest. Take care
